anyone else think that the show jumped the shark - it used to be the best show around - but I think when they started with the famiy editiion it has been downhill from there!

They definitely dilluted the content by spinning it out in so many directions. I sort of understand it. People are only going to watch duos snipe at each other while they travel so many times before it gets old. However, once it started to lose popularity, they should have just thrown in the hat.

I saw the first season and loved it... after that, it was all pretty much the same, so I stopped watching long ago. I'm really not into reality shows anymore. I rather just watch a movie.

The Amazing Race is...simply amazing. I watch it every week. Glad to see there are no spoilers here, but also sad to see that no one enjoys it as much as I do. I enjoy it so much as the teams go to so many different places around the world. It also gives you a good insight as to where you should go when you decide to travel. On Tuesday is the final of one of the seasons. There have been so many that I've lost track.

I used to LOVE the show but then they had that family editionand it completely lost me....that was so wrong... but then they started coming back... I think I'm still on the fence about it.

Yeah the family edition was quite boring. And they never travelled out of the American continent. One of the enjoyable things about The Amazing Race is the fact that they do travel to so many different countries, but when they stay in the same continent and there are only two or three languages heard throughout the whole season, it can be a bit boring.

maybe that is same type of the plot
