Harvard researchers told a group of maids that their work was good exercise for staying in shape. Four weeks later, those maids were in better shape than the ones who weren't told that their work was good exercise. Scientists are at a loss to explain it, except perhaps if you think it's exercise you may get more benefit from it.

You know I think I heard somewhere that typing helps tone your butt. :D

I heard that the lady who wrote the book "The Secret" also believes that you can eat anything without gaining weight. It is just a mind power thing....like if you say...this icecream is going straight to my butt it actually does but if you dont think it will affect you it doesnt.


I love the idea of typing toning your butt....maybe you should write an E-book on the subject...lol...people will buy anything! :lol:

If it is all in the mind, then there is a huge problem in my body! Because I don't think I'll gain weight when I am eating cookies, b ut they totally disregard my orders and stay on my body for ever!!!

The Secret Yes, just finished that book - she basically says it is NOT the cheesecak that is making you fat - it is you THINKING that the cheesecake is making you fat!

Well it's a lovely idea but in that case people now should live a fraction of the lifespans as people thousands of years ago when they didn't know what made you ill/unhealthy/fat.

It is really an excellent idea and if you think negatively, you might end up with weight gain.
