(Hey look, I made an alliteration! :D)

What's your favorite French movie?

I'd have to say one of my all-time favorites is "Le dîner de cons". It's a classic!

There is a movie called: "Gazon Maudit", and it is probably one of the funniest french movies I've ever seen. Very "edgy" and different. Usually I'm not a big fan of French movies because I can't understand their plots. But that one definetely made me laugh a lot.

I haven't seen that one. I'll have to check it out.

Yeah, French movie plots can be pretty strange sometimes. (Trois couleurs, for example.) They are certainly different from American movies. But I guess that's what makes them interesting.

tend to bore me which is interesting because I actally speak french. Maybe because I have high expectations for them because I love France and the language (even though the people seem rude!)

Mon film français préféré, c'est le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain! C'est un peu bizzare comme film, mais intéressant en tout cas. :D

I haven't seen much French films to begin with, but from what I've seen, I'd definitely choose Banlieue 13 (District 13 for the English dubbed version)

Banlieue 13 is a cool action movie. Luc Besson's movies are really good. Have you seen La femme Nikita?
