...I hate it. Here are my biggest complaints: 1. The menu bar (which is disabled by default) shows up below the address bar. This is the most disgusting UI design I have ever seen in my life! No Windows application that's worth anything does this. 2. The address bar should be below the tabs. Having the address bar above the tabs suggests that the address is for the entire window, including all tabs. This is just awkward. 3. It's ugly. I'm going to go back to IE 6.

It's been over a month since I posted this complaint and I thought I'd write a quick follow-up. I forced myself to use IE7 for all this time and I've found that I don't hate it anymore. You can turn off the menu bar, which makes the UI look a lot cleaner. The address bar's position (above the tabs) still bothers me, but it's not the end of the world. So, all-in-all, maybe it's not so bad. You just have to get past the shock of Microsoft yanking the rug out from underneath you...

I used to like Firefox as well, until I started using Opera. It's the best browser out there, in my opinion.

Since IE stopped having upgrades for Mac users, I dropped it like a hot potato. Now I use Firefox and Safari, and I am very happy with both. Only firefox is not compatible with some sites. I guess with time things will change. I gotta try Opera.

I am using IE7 right now. It's a browser. I use it to browse the internet. I therefore need nothing fancy. That's why I don't like firefox with its fancy addons...

Internet Explorer 7... Totally agree about the ugliness factor! That is the first thing I notice -at least if it was tolerable I might try to work on the other problems I have with it!

Initially I found IE7 a swine to use but after a lot of messing about I've got it useable for me. And I love the tabs so much that I'm willing to put up with it.
