Lately, I've been listening to a Korean CD by 이승기 called "Crazy For You".  The whole album is really good, but there is one song in particular that I really like: 외쳐본다.  I've been trying to translate the lyrics, but I'm having a tough time with parts of it.  Does anyone know what the highlighted (in red, below) word means?

 간다던 이별의 말도 흘리던 그때 눈물도
 멀어지던 뒷 모습도 다 믿을수 없어
 난 그대로야 나 이렇게

 Thanks!

The part in red basically means 'after you're gone'.  It's the past tense of 'go'.  The whole sentence means he's talking to himself in his head about her leaving.

감사합니다!

 I did some more research and it looks like you are correct, it seems to be the past tense of "to go", plus some extra stuff.  Here's what I found:

 가다 = 가 + ㄴ = 간 (past, completed action)

 더 (retrospective marker) + ㄴ = 던, which apparently is used when the speaker is recalling experiences that don't exist anymore.

 I'm still not sure why you would put the 다 in between the two though...

It's a lower form of 'go'.  So 가 becomes 간 다

 Here's a good verb conjugation reference
