Ingredients -16 fresh unshelled shrimp
-4 tsp. (20 mL) sesame oil
-1/3 cup (80 mL) olive oil* -Juice of 1 lemon
-3 Tbsp. (45 mL) chopped fresh coriander
-2 tsp. (10 mL) grated gingerroot
-1 garlic clove, chopped
Preparation Rinse shrimp in cold water and pat dry. Using kitchen shears, cut outer curve of shell from the tail up. Remove the vein. Thread shrimp, all facing the same way, onto double skewers so that they don't budge during cooking. Set aside. In a shallow dish, mix remaining ingredients together. Add brochettes and refrigerate 45 min. Preheat barbecue to medium. Grill drained brochettes 2-3 min. per side. Suggestion
Serve as an appetizer or as the main dish with grilled vegetables and white rice.
