My sister just had a baby yesterday that was 3 months early! She only weights 1 pound and 15 oz! Does anyone else know of babies this small or early that survived? Did they or do they have health problems?

The grandson of a good friend of mine was recently born 3 months early. he was about the same weight. The hospital are taken brilliant care of him, he's putting on weight, and he's doing really well.

After birth a few months needs lots of care and if during the first three months the child start gaining weight and all other functions are normal, nothing to worry.
