Anyone out there have a suggestion for a good finanicial book to read? Someone suggested any book by Suze Orman but, not sure why, but she annoys me to no end!

I don't think I have ever read anything realted with Financial themes. I find the subject extremely boring, and I rather keep my life simple. good luck finding something.

I prefer websites myself, books tend to go overboard with the writers pet theories and jargon. With a website you can look up any terms you don't understand and it doesn't cost to get the info.

In today's world financial things change very fast and therefore I think you should read some financial papers or financial websites that updates regularly.

I actually have found that Suze Orman's books are good -they just give solid basic advice -nothing too fancy, just the basic which over time do not change -- you should buy one and see if you like her style.
