I do not - but think its because they tend to try to pull one over on women? do others find this true?

Once I had a mechanic that was great! It was a young kid, learning with his father, and I found him and trusted him with my car. He did a great job and was very reliable. Then me moved out of State... I miss him very much!

People with technical skill do sometimes try it on if they think you're a rube. Easiest way to find out if you can trust your mechanic is to do some reading up on your car or maybe even take a basic mechanics course.
