Should gambling be legal in any state? I feel like we all need to protect ourselves and if I want to gamble, the government should let me!

I agree with you!  The thing is that even though we are a country build on the idea of freedon, on those points of censorship and controlling what can you do and what not, then freedom takes another perspective!

Gambling is legal here in the UK. I don't myself but I think adults should certainly be allowed to choose what to do with their own money. If you're old enough to fight for your country, get married, smoke, then you should be able to bet.
