Just this week I had a mammogram.  It should've been a yearly thing but I did it after 3 years.  So far so good, nothing found.  I have to do this, because my mother and my maternal grandmother had both breast cancer, so I am at high risk.  If you know that breast cancer runs in your family, or you feel something unusual in your breast, please have yourself examined.

I am only 33 but have had mamagrams for the past 3 years! Apparently there is a connection between breast cancer and melanoma skin cancer. If you have one, it is more likely to have the other. I feel it is better safe than sorry....Dont forget your yearly skin check also.....

There's no history in my family but I have them regularly as it's better to be safe.
