If you are looking for an easy way to cut weight, start with soft drinks. Most Americans get between 75 and 150 calories per day from beverages. The double whammy that makes it possible: #1 The number of sodas drunk each day has gone up, and #2 the average soft drink size increased more than 50 percent from about 13 ounces to almost 20 ounces.

You are absolutely right!  The moment I stop drinking sodas, I notice that my weight comes down a little.  The problem is I am addicted to them!

I read that a can of cola contains 7 teaspoons of sugar. Makes you wonder how bitter it must be without all that sugar.

I never drink anything with calories but the bad thing bout it is every diet says stop drinking soda and you will automatically lose a few pounds a month - but I only drink diet soda so this "trick" never works!
