Are there any Douglas Adams fans out there? (He wrote Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe). In one of his stories he included a hermetically sealed, temperature-controlled building that stopped working and killed people. Turns out they aren't much better for you in real life. Recent research has shown that hospitals with high ceilings and opened windows worked better than modern "negative pressure" rooms, with expensive design aimed at pumping out infected air.

I used to work at a building that was sealed, no windows could be open. That's where I got the most colds and sickneses ever! So, you are into something!

Fresh air and exposure to sunlight are crucial to staying healthy when working in an office. Where you get lots of people and no natural airflow you get colds etc being recycled indefinitely.

Closed rooms are the most populated places on earth and many people having allergy towards pollen will have difficulty in closed rooms.
