Option 1: No idea if this works, but have heard anecdotal evidence many many times. Put some spit around the edges of the plunger. Put the plunger over the dent and create a seal. Pull. Warning: You may get rust if the clear seal is cracked. This fix has only been recommended for small, regularly shaped dings where the paint is not cracked. Option 2: Take your car to the shop. It should cost you about $50 for them to do a quick fix.

Well, seems like a good idea to try it yourself and avoid paying the $50! It doesn't sound too complicated!

I don't know about the plunger but the theory is sound. At our place they have a piece of equipment that 'sucks' out small dents in the same way.

I agreew ith the previous poster - I have NEVER gotten anything done with a mechanic for $50. Personally, I havce had a ding for a while and i just get used to it - -not worth the money to fix it.
